Michael Whyte has received a number of letters of appreciation from senior officers of the Metropolitan Police:On two separate occasions that I am aware of Mr Whyte and his colleagues have come to the aid of Police Officers whilst they were dealing with violent confrontational issues. These are examples of the partnership approach and co-operation that exists between our professions. Inspector
A crowd of about a hundred then began to surge across the road, shouting and encouraging the three males. Other police units were requested. At this stage Mr Whyte and four of his security team came out of the club and lined up across the road to keep the crowd at bay from the police officers who were trying to effect the arrests. The door supervisors were very effective at keeping the crowd back and remained in position for a number of minutes pending the arrival of other police units. I believe this incident is worthy of note, and recognition should be given to Michael Whyte and his team. Sergeant
The man repeatedly hit X who eventually fell to the floor whereupon the man started to kick him. Michael Whyte took rapid action by intervening. He ensured that an ambulance was called and X was taken to Kingston Hospital where he received surgery for a severed artery to the back of the head. Superintendent |
